Change of Mind =/= Deception
- Aunt: Jackland, you change your mind a lot.
- Me: Isn't that part of what growing up is about? I mean, especially being a teenager, changing your mind is like an everyday thing. You can't expect me to be 16 and stay true to my word for the rest of my life now, can you? But, that doesn't make me a liar. It just means that I change my mind so much because I'm growing. My outlook on things will constantly change.
- Aunt: Amen to that, sweetie.
